Roses are Red

This past Sunday at church, my pastor was preaching about how we don't often recognize or give credit to people we are close to, because we take them for granted. He said his grandmother used to say to him, "Give me my flowers while I'm still living". What she meant by that was that after someone has died, everyone always talks about how wonderful they were and how much they loved them, but they don't often hear it while they're still alive. What good is it when they can't hear you say it? So go out and tell someone you love them. Tell them they're important, that you're proud of them. Don't take anyone for granted. Give them their flowers before it's too late.
